I know what you mean! I cried so much just at the book! Also, I can't bear to watch any movie version of The Scarlett Pimpernel (my favorite book) I just don't want the characters in my mind to be replaced.

Caroline,

I'm sitting here in the library, struggling to keep my laughter quiet. This has to be the funniest clip I've seen in a while. I've always heard his name, but now I'm curious. If you were to recommend one album, which would it be?

Phil, the only album of his I have so far is his first, Closing Time. It's solid all the way through and probably his most accessible (think melancholy barroom blues). He's since become more alternative/experimental and developed that characteristic growl, but Closing Time has been a good starting place for me. There are also some mp3s here under recent media.

I miss you too, alot. Remember once when I was sick and walked around with a scarf on my face to keep from contaminating you? :-) I miss laughing with you.
love.

Ah! I so wish I'd known then...I wanted to go to this so badly, and knew there must be at least one other like me. Did you go??

I didn't go. The tickets wound up being out of everyone's price range. :( But I have Nathan to thank for introducing me to him!
